June Favourites

I cannot believe we're coming to the end of another month, let alone the first half of 2016. The year so far has been a mixed bag, with highs and lows, but I'm excited for what's next to come. For me, June started off on a high, as I went on a lovely weeks holiday to Valencia with family. I also got to spend time with friends, went to a really fun screening of How To Be Single to celebrate the DVD/Blu-ray release and I read some really great books (which I'll be sharing with you sometime next week!) I thought I'd share some of the things I've really been loving this month, alongside those highlights.

Perla & Suzy Tsum Tsums

Now I'd been so gutted about missing out on getting Perla and Suzy pretty much since their release, and then one day last week a package containing them both, along with Gus, turned up on my doorstep. My lovely friend Sophie had moved house and couldn't take her entire collection with her, so she knew they'd find a good home in mine. I honestly love them both, and Gus, so much, and just need Jaq to complete the set!

Peter Pan And Friends Record Cover Artwork Mug

I spotted this mug a good few months ago, but as I own a lot of mugs, I couldn't really justify buying it... until now! I definitely love Peter Pan a whole lot, so as soon as I saw it had gone into the Disney Store sale and was only £4.47 I couldn't resist picking one up! I absolutely adore the design, it's such a great size and although I've not used it as a mug yet, it's got a lovely spot on my shelf.

ASOS Fresco Bow Sandals

These are literally the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. I struggled to find a pair before I went to Valencia, as I don't do well with sandals that have the stitching around the edge where my foot sits but then I stumbled across these two days before I went. They are absolutely gorgeous, caused me no problems walking around in them for an entire week, and I honestly love them so much. I even spotted them on Louise (Sprinkle of Glitter) in an Instagram post recently! My only downfall with them is that they look grubby after a lot of wear, but I am tempted to get a pair of the navy ones they have too!

Ocean Salt by Lush

I am a big Lush fan, and love trying new products. For some reason, I hadn't really given Ocean Salt a try, even though I've tried their other scrubs/face masks. I absolutely love it. It smells like a cocktail, it's naturally antibacterial and it's gentle enough to not irritate my skin too much. The only downside is that no matter how much I try to avoid the area around my mouth, I always get some of the salt in it and it's not the nicest of tastes!

The One We Fell in Love With by Paige Toon

Okay, I feel like an idiot to admit it, but I almost didn't buy this book. I have so many already on my to-be-read shelf, and was trying not to buy any more, but I gave in. I am so glad I did! This was honestly one of the most wonderful but heartbreaking books I've read in a long time, and I could not put it down. I read it in Valencia and at one point was sat in the middle of a park sobbing silently to myself. If you're looking for a holiday read, this should be it!

NYX Hot Singles Eyeshadow in Stiletto and Dayclub

I've really been loving trying out some of the NYX products over the last few months, and these are my new favourites. I wear a nude shade every day on my lids, mainly to stop my eyeliner from smudging, and Stiletto is the perfect shade for that. I also love adding gold if I want to dress my eyes up a little, and I really love the colour of Dayclub. I'm really enjoying using both of them, and love the way they wear. They're super compact too - perfect to chuck in a makeup bag!
