April Favourites

I say it every month, but I can't believe we're in May already. The past four months have absolutely flown by, and I can't believe we're a third of the year down already. April was an pretty good month for me, and I had a few exciting things happen, so I thought I'd share some of my favourite things and moments from the month.

The Ultimelt by Soap & Glory

First things first, it's skincare. I mentioned in my favourites last month that I had been loving the Soap & Glory No Clogs Allowed mask. I decided to branch out into more of their skincare, having used that and their micellar water, and picked up The Ultimelt to replace my Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish. It definitely lived up to expectations, and has been so lovely to use. It doesn't dry my skin out and it smells gorgeous too!

Mehr Lipstick by MAC

Nearer the start of the month I took a trip down to Exeter, and whilst there decided to pop into the MAC store. I only owned two MAC lipsticks to begin with (Russian Red and Resentlessly Red) but had been on the search for a good my lips but better shade. In the end I went with Mehr, and it's absolutely gorgeous. I've been wearing it for most of the month, and it's so lovely!

I actually watched this movie on my flight to Canada last June, and although I loved it I didn't pick up the DVD when it was released. I got it on offer at the start of April, and watched it multiple times throughout the month. Every single thing about it is perfect, and even my mum (who isn't a huge Disney fan/often falls asleep in movies) loved it! I can't wait to see the other live-action movies coming out in the next few years, and The Jungle Book is definitely on the books for May!

Folded Zip Wallet by Cath Kidston

Cath Kidston is definitely a brand that I've been a fan of for a good few years, and I've had my eye on their purses for ages! I decided that I'd treat myself to one at the end of March, and I love it. This purse is perfect for carrying all my cards, has a beautiful design and is just so practical. I'm so glad I've finally got one in my life!

Legally Blonde: The Musical by Exeter Musical Society

I mentioned above that I went down to Exeter at the start of the month, and this was actually to see my friend Sophie as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde. We found out she got the role when in Disneyland Paris in December, so I obviously had to go down and see it... twice! I loved the show - Sophie was brilliant - and I've been listening to the soundtrack ever since!

Disney's Magic Kingdoms game

I am OBSESSED with this game. I've always been a fan of games like this, and being a huge Disney fan this game is SO much fun. When I've got nothing better to do, I'm sending Mickey to do some conducting or I'm sending Daisy to spread flowers. It's a pointless game, but I love it, even if it does cause me to have my phone joint to my hand even more so than usual.

And finally, I had my hair cut short! I've had it as a long bob before, but I've gone for a full on bob this time, with a full fringe too. I think it looks a little like lego hair, but maybe that's just me. A huge shoutout to the lovely Tina at The Strand in Chelmsford for my lovely do! (Which you can see here.)

My May has already started off on a good note, so here's to a month of fun and happiness for us all!
