December Favourites

I always have mixed feelings about writing favourites posts myself, but love reading them, so I thought I'd get back into the swing of things and [hopefully] get back to doing one each month. December was a month of lots of new things, especially because of Christmas, so I picked out a few of the things I couldn't get enough of.

My two real beauty favourites of the month are the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream and the Limited Edition Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish in Sweet Orange & Mint.

I'd seen First Aid Beauty's products on Feel Unique for a while, and finally got round to purchasing this and their Vitamin Hydrating Mist. I was definitely suffering with dry skin on my face during December, but using this morning and night really helped. I regretably only bought the small tube to begin with, but have since bought the tub of it too.

I'd been using Cleanse & Polish for the majority of 2015, but when I spotted this limited edition scent I knew I wanted to try it. It smells gorgeous, and the cloth it came with is so adorable with it's gold trim. I am a little sad that it was only available in the smaller size, but it's actually the perfect travel size. I really wish I bought more!

Now this one is definitely a bit of a cheat, as I only got it towards the end of December. I couldn't help including it, though, as I absolutely love it. I'd been meaning to get a watch for a while, and spotted that ALDO do ones that have multiple straps. I spotted their Speziale watch on ASOS on boxing day and couldn't resist. It was £17.50 instead of the usual £30 that their watch sets are, and it came with four other straps. I've kept the one it came on for now, but I'll definitely be trying out the rest.

Since my last post I've had lots of people asking where my diary is from. It's this one here, and is from the brand Ban.Do. Unfortunately it seems like a lot of their diaries are now sold out, as it's actually a 17 month diary running from August 2015, so they've been on sale for a while. I did see them on ASOS and the Selfridges website, but I actually ordered mine prior to that from a Canadian brand via Kelsey. It's a gorgeous diary, and if you missed out this year then definitely keep an eye out around August for next year's.

As you can see there's a bit of a metallic theme in my favourites this month. I picked up this copper plate from H&M in the Black Friday sales. It's so lovely, and takes a pride spot on my bedside table with some of my essentials in.

One of those essentials is my Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm Tin. With the cold weather being pretty prominent whilst we were at Disney, my lips got extremely dry and thankfully Sophie had this to hand. It worked magic, and as soon as I was home I bought one and have been using it daily. I love the peppermint scent and the fact that it makes your lips tingle. It's definitely a winning lip balm for me.

Now I couldn't resist doing my December favourites without mentioning my trip to Disneyland Paris with Sophie. It was the most magical trip ever, and I loved every minute of it. If you haven't seen my posts on the trip, make sure you give them a read.
