#Blogcember | An Evening With Giovanna Fletcher

On Tuesday, I headed to Waterstones in Picadilly Circus to spend the evening with the lovely Giovanna Fletcher. The evening was very similar to the Jojo Moyes one I went to a couple of months back, and involved a Q&A type session with Gi and Anna James from The Bookseller and then a book signing after.

I've read all of Gi's books now, and absolutely loved all of them (Dream A Little Dream was even one of my top reads this year!), although I do think Billy & Me has to be my favourite of hers and not only because the main character was called Sophie.

The evening was to celebrate her Christmas novella Dream A Little Christmas Dream, and we all got a copy, which was then signed. I actually got two copies signed - one for myself, and one for my lovely friend Kate who was meant to be coming with me.

Gi was lovely, and after chatting about her books, boobs (she's a boob ninja, didn't you know?) and bump, she took time to take a picture and chat to every single one of us.

Now I decided to read the book on my commute to work the next morning, and I had to stop myself from crying. It was a beautiful addition to a great story, and it was so lovely finding out what happened next with the characters.

If you've not read any of her books, then you definitely should!

Sophie x
