Goodbye September

September this year was one of the best months so far, which is a complete contrast to last year. Looking back on the past month, there have been so many things that have made me happy. There have been wonderful moments with friends old and new, things that I have done that I never thought I would, and lots of joy and laughter that my September missed last year.

Firstly, I got to get super excited about booking Disneyland Paris with my best friend Sophie (who now has a YouTube channel, which was another great part of September!) At twenty-two, I've never been to a Disney park, and to be able to have the money to book 5 days in Paris with one of my best friends has made me smile the entire month.

I also did The Gherkin Challenge the first Sunday of the month for the NSPCC. I hadn't really prepared much for it (other than being on a lift-ban at work) so it was a pretty big accomplishment hitting the 38th floor and seeing the incredible views. I also raised over £200 for the NSPCC, which I was over the moon about.

I had a little break from here at the start of September, but I still attended two blogging events. The first was the Joe Browns Bloggers Funfair, where I got to see their new collection and hang out with other lovely bloggers. I also hung out up in the trees with a group of bloggers at the BGO Go Ape event. I had wanted to try Go Ape for a while, so couldn't resist going along, but boy was it a workout and a half! Thanks again BGO for the invite - it was such a fun day!

Meeting one of my favourite authors was definitely a highlight of September. I first read Me Before You by Jojo Moyes just over a year ago, and when I heard After You was coming out I knew I had to go to the launch event. Jojo was lovely, and the book was incredible, as expected. There's more about this here.

I ended the month attending to gigs with great friends. On Monday, my friend Si and I decided to get last minute tickets to see One Direction that night, and we honestly had the best time singing and dancing away. I also got to see Hunter Hayes for the third time this year, which was a brilliant show, as expected.

Finally, I started 100 Happy Days over on my Instagram again towards the end of this month, for the last 100 days of the year. I can't believe we're down to so little days left in 2015, but it's great challenging myself to find a happy thing in each of them.
