Cleanse & Polish by Liz Earle

I've had a little bit of a blogging break, but I'm back! Sometimes life just gets so busy that it's hard to take a moment to sit down and just do things that you want to do. Blogging is one of those things for me, and for some reason life just hasn't wanted me to take time to write any posts the past week or so.

When life gets busy, the last thing I really think about doing is cleaning my face. That's bad, I know, but the simpler the process the better in my opinion. That's why I've pretty much fallen in love with this cleanser the past few months. I know I'm pretty late to the game with this, but I've been testing out different cleansers for a long time now, because my face just never seems to agree with anything. Then I found this. Liz Earle's Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. It literally has been my new best friend since I started using it.

At £15.50 for the starter kit, it is a little bit of a splurge, but mine has lasted me 7 weeks already, and I'm not quite finished with it yet. It has a gorgeous smell, I love the tingly feeling the eucalyptus creates, and it is just such an easy and simple way to properly cleanse the face. The starter kit comes with two muslin cloths, which I use a few times before sticking them in the wash. They dry pretty fast too, so it's easy enough to wash them in-between uses.

I think the thing I love most about this cleanser is how my skin has been over the past month or so. I still get the odd spot when I get stressed etc, but other than that my face has been clear, it hasn't dried it out any more than my face already is, and it just leaves it feeling lovely and fresh. The cloths also gently exfoliate, which is great as a lot of times exfoliators are a little too harsh on my face.

I really can't get enough of this cleanser, so much so that I treated myself to their 20th anniversary Cleanse & Polish trio, which is made up of three bottles of limited-edition scents - Rose & Lavender, Grapefruit & Patchouli and Orange Flower & Chamomile. I love all three scents, just as much as I love the original, but definitely think the Orange Flower & Chamomile is my favourite of them all.

The formula of the product is the same for them all, and it's just a beautiful set that comes in a lovely tin. I'm so glad I treated myself to it, as it worked out at a great price and all the limited edition scents are just lovely. If you're not a fan of the original scent, then the limited edition ones are definitely worth picking up.

My face has been looking and feeling great, and it's all thanks to a combination of this product, my MooGoo Blemish Cleansing Moisturiser, MooGoo Brightening Cream and Dusty Girls mineral make-up. There's no better way to look after yourself than being kind to your skin, and I've been doing just that.
