MooGoo & Dusty Girls

I've been trying to be a little better to myself for the past few months in a few kind of ways. I've been trying to exercise more, cut down on junk food and just treat my body nicely. One of the things I've also been trying to do recently is to treat my skin a little better, and use more natural products.
At the #nyLDNmeet I went to in January, I got to meet and speak to the lovely ladies at MooGoo. MooGoo is an Australian brand, that got its name from the 'goo' that was used to heal a cow's skin condition. Now it's not the same 'goo' that's used in their products, but it's a similar, human-friendly version. It's all natural, and has great effects on the skin. The lovely ladies at MooGoo sent me a couple of their products to try out, and I've well and truly been in love.
First up is the Irritable Skin Balm* (RRP £12.50). Now I suffer from random bursts of eczema, and really dry itchy skin at times, so I was looking forward to trying this out. It's a nice thick cream that soaks in to the skin well, and leaves it a little bit oily - so it's great to put on at night. It smells really nice, which is always a plus side, and it's anti-inflammatory, so I find it's great to use after I shave my legs as it prevents the irritated red marks I get. It's all round a great product, and it's definitely going to be making an appearance every time my skin gets irritated.

The next product I've tried is the Blemish Cleansing Moisturiser* (RRP £12.50). Now I thankfully don't suffer from acne, but I do suffer from quite dry and sensitive skin on my face and using most moisturisers brings me out in spots. After hearing about this moisturiser, I thought it'd definitely be worth a try. The moisturiser is bleach-free, unlike most other acne creams, and cleanses and moisturises at the same time. It works great, and since using it my spots have definitely been decreasing. I tend to combine it with my new Lush Ultrabland cleanser, and it seems to be working well.

Earlier this week I also got a second delivery from MooGoo which contained a product from their newly launched Dusty Girls make up range - their Earth Cream* (RRP £11) in light. This cream is more-or-less a tinted moisturiser - it provides some coverage, as well as having SPF in it to protect your skin even more. The cream evens out the skin, and is great for everyday use. I love it, and will definitely be using this as part of my daily make-up routine.
If you are looking at treating your skin a little better, the MooGoo and Dusty Girls products are perfect for it - they're all natural and look after your skin. I love all that I've tried, and can't wait to get my hands on some of the other lovely products.

    1. I've tried some more bits from the brand since, and I've not disliked any of them. If you have sensitive/irritable skin and want something nice and natural then it's definitely worth trying! x
