Palma de Mallorca - September 2014

Earlier this month I headed off to Mallorca for 5 nights, for a holiday with my parents. The holiday came at the most perfect time for me really, as my almost 3 year relationship ended the week before, and getting away for the week was really what I needed.

We stayed in an apartment (via airbnb) in Palma, about five minutes walk from the beach, and it was lovely, minus not having air con. The temperature was around 32° each day, with the nights only going down to around 24°, which meant it was difficult to sleep. I hadn't been to Mallorca since I was around 4 and a half, but I fell in love with it. We spent most of our time in Palma itself, but also did a day trip to Can Pastilla, and another trip to Cuevas del Drach, which are the underground caves in Porto Cristo.

Unfortunately my camera is on it's way out (there are blurry smudges on every photo - any suggestions for a new camera are very welcome!), so the pictures aren't brilliant, but I thought I'd share some with you!

Have any of you been to Mallorca? It's such a beautiful place and I'd love to see more of the island in the future.
